Beechworth Theatre Company is a community theatre group based in beautiful Beechworth in the North East of Victoria.  We aim to bring live theatre to our community, which enriches the lives of those who take part, as well as those who come to watch! Community theatre is a place of new experiences, new friendships, new skills, and (most importantly) heaps of fun!

BTC has been part of the Beechworth community since 1969, becoming an incorporated association in 1996.  Since then, BTC has been producing quality drama, including plays, pantomimes, and musicals.

BTC is open to any person who has an interest or desire to explore the performing arts in acting, directing, stage management and crew, set design and construction, stage lighting and sound, costumes, makeup, front of house and/or media. There’s more to theatre than being a ‘triple threat’! Come along and meet new people, connect with your community, and get involved!
